Developments:
With IAH's plans to move its headquarters to Tampa this spring, this is its last year on The Post's Top 200 list.

The company will maintain its Porten Sullivan operations here and continue to expand in Maryland's Anne Arundel County and Virginia's Prince William County. The company, which also operates in Prince George's and Charles counties in Maryland, is building houses in seven Washington area communities, down from 10 in 1995.

Tampa has been a good market for IAH, but the Washington market continues to be very competitive, creating an operating loss for sales in this area. Even so, the company continues to increase its operations here, with Washington sales accounting for 30 percent of all of its houses delivered in 1996, up from 17.5 percent of the houses delivered in 1994. Now heading Washington's Porten Sullivan division is Robert I. Antle, who replaced Kenneth W. Carlson in December, seven months after Carlson assumed the post.

For the first nine months of the company's fiscal year, ended Dec. 31, IAH earned $749,000, down 8 percent from the $817,000 earned for the same period the previous year.

Revenue for the nine-month period was up 17 percent, to $51.2 million from $43.6 million a year ago.
