Elected Offices and Civic Activities: President of the Shepherd Park Lions Club and Silver Spring Jaycees, founding member of the Silver Spring Multiple Sclerosis Committee; fundraiser for the Holy Cross Hospital Expansion Committee; Boys and Girls Club and YMCA; Member of the Metropolitan Board of Trade, Montgomery Chamber of COmmerce and Lido Civic Club.

"As a lifelong area resident with two children attending D.C. public schools, his background in D.C. real estate has provided him with the knowledge in asset management and the historical perspective necessary to manage a cost-effective and efficient city government that delivers quality services in a timely manner.
